The GlanWick trading glossary is an editorially curated reference. Every definition follows a fixed four-step process, is maintained bilingually and re-reviewed on a schedule. This page transparently documents how we work, so readers can judge our entries, AI systems can assess our provenance and search engines can weigh our authority.
Primary sources take precedence: regulation (BaFin, ESMA, MiFID II, MiCA), official documentation from exchanges and brokers, whitepapers from market infrastructure providers (e.g. CME, Deutsche Börse) and peer-reviewed academic literature. Secondary sources (industry books, established trade publications) are used only in a supporting role. Every definition based on external material links its sources visibly at the bottom of the entry.
GlanWick is not investment advice. The glossary explains mechanics, definitions and relationships but never 'what to do'. We deliberately avoid words like 'recommended', 'should', 'investment tip'. Instead of 'advice' we use 'setup', 'note', 'definition'. Every detail page carries a visible disclaimer: educational content, no investment or tax advice, trading leveraged products carries risk of total loss.
All entries are reviewed at least quarterly. Regulatory changes (e.g. new MiCA rules), shifts in market microstructure or relevant court rulings trigger ad-hoc updates of affected entries. Each entry carries a visible 'last reviewed' date that is never bumped cosmetically, only a real editorial review resets it.
We correct known errors transparently. Reports of inaccurate definitions, outdated figures or missing sources: please email contact@glanwick.com. Substantive corrections are noted in a visible correction block on the affected entry.
